About Ralston Elementary

Located in the picturesque city of Golden, this PK-6 school was originally built in 1955 and expanded in 1963, 1986, 1997, and 2001. Based on an overall master plan, Ralston Elementary School was outlined to expand to 480 students. This expansion involves a new addition consisting of a music room, 2 kindergarten classrooms, and 2 first grade classrooms. A renovation component involving the relocation of the existing cafeteria and remodel of the existing kitchen is also a part of the expansion.

The project was implemented in phases and was constructed with the school in session. Ralston Elementary School was able to accommodate a bigger building than what was delineated in the master plan with efficient design and material selection.
