About Laramie High School

The vision of the community for this new school takes school design well into the future in terms of accommodating a variety of organizational styles, flexibility and project-based learning. Some concepts applied to the design of this building have rarely been done, but are being tested in the schools within the district and are proving to be very successful.

The entire building is designed to allow public use during the evenings and weekends acting as a community center for all age groups. Selected areas can be secured so that public access is restricted if desired. Expansion of the facility with additional program areas was planned and designed along with the core building. This created a highly tuned and efficient master plan for growth and maintains an extremely efficient teaching facility for the long term.
