The Adams 50 School District in Westminster, Colorado, was searching for a team to add air conditioning to an elementary school over the spring months so that it could begin summer classes in June.  After lengthy discussions with the school district and facilities personnel, Lantz-Boggio teamed with a contractor to determine a work plan to complete most of the work while school was in session.  Most of the work was completed after hours to complete the balance of the work.  The principal and school staff were updated daily regarding the status of the work and how each day’s activities might impact the teachers and students.  Air conditioning and interior repairs were made to the school’s 16 Classrooms, Gymnasium, Library and Administration Offices, which was completed ahead of schedule and will serve as an example for other school environments for Adams 50 regarding the learning environment within an air-conditioned school building.
