Karval, Colorado

The Vo-Ag program at Karval is one of the most popular programs at the school.  Yet the Vo-Ag building in Karval was unusable.  Student projects were placed side by side, welding was done next to painting, and air circulation requirements did not meet current code.  Lantz-Boggio Architects designed and built a new two-story Vo-Ag Building with a large project room accessed by two large overhead doors, a classroom, restrooms, metal storage and a mechanical room on the first floor.  On the second floor was a wood shop with space for all the schools tools and a wood storage room.  Provision was made for a future wheelchair lift in the future for access with those with disabilities.
