Hudson Elementary School within the Weld County Re-3(J) School District had placed the school’s library in the existing gymnasium, but had not been able to tailor the space for this important learning area.  After several meetings with the school district, a design was agreed on that included new carpet, paint, a dropped ceiling, a new circulation desk, and colors that would motivate the students to learn.  An existing wheelchair lift was relocated to make this space accessible for the entire school population.  The remodeled area afforded space for a computer lab with 23 computers.  Exterior improvements were also made outside the building to compliment the interior improvements.
