The Center for Advanced Dermatology in Lakewood, Colorado, was searching for a new building to handle their growing practice and cramped dermatology clinic. Lantz-Boggio Architects teamed with a contractor under a design-build contract for a 8,100 sf facility. The building’s architecture speaks both to the interior function as well as its location nears a major thoroughfare, and the building’s interior was designed around the client flow and physician efficiency. An attractive waiting area leads to a looped corridor. Exam rooms, procedure rooms, and an aesthetician’s room have large exterior windows and shades. A portion of the building was left unfinished for future growth.  A continuous ribbon of windows high on the wall insures natural light with the patient’s privacy in mind.
